The Happiest Place in Crofton
Crofton Day School is a small, private preschool located in the Prince of Peace Church next to the Crofton Country Club. Established in 1997, CDS is a warm and comfortable school environment for young learners. CDS has Maryland State Department of Education approval to be a preschool. Our curriculum, learning materials and teachers meet the standards set by the MSDE.
We help children learn about the world in which they live by providing hands-on activities, making learning interesting and fun. Our classes promote a love of learning because we understand how a young child learns. We enjoy working with young children and have many years of experience in introducing them to school and making learning meaningful.

Application and enrollment information-To register your child, submit an application for admission along with the $100 application fee. Upon admission an enrollment deposit of one month’s tuition will be due. This enrollment deposit holds your child’s place in the class and is applied to the May 2020 tuition. The remaining eight monthly tuition payments are paid one month in advance and are due 8/1/19 through 3/1/20. A total of nine monthly tuition payments are due for the school year.
All enrollment deposits, tuition payments and application fees are non-refundable.
When all spaces in a class are filled, we place any additional applicants on a waiting list. We fill any openings that become available in a class from the waiting list. Admission to a class from the waiting list varies from year to year and cannot be predicted in advance. Placement on the waiting list does not guarantee admission to the school. There is no charge to be on a wait list.
